New Facility Ground Breaking Celebration

On March 9, 2019, in the bitter cold and grey , rainy skies over West Chester, the Animal Hospital of West Chester began the construction phase of expanding and growing it’s 14 year practice.

“We are all so excited about what this expansion will do for our furry patients and human clients.” Dr. Jennifer Dehnbostel remarked. “We are looking forward to having more room, enhanced capabilities and some of the latest veterinary technology tools to help us continue the highest level of dog and cat pet care”.

Just some of the newest features of the hospital/medical area will include:

  • 7500 sq. ft of vet space (double our current space)
  • Five exam rooms
  • Larger surgical suite with updated monitoring equipment
  • Separate dental/oral surgery area
  • Updated Digital X-ray area
  • Latest technology equipment

Boarding Enhancements:

  • Separate entrances for an easier drop-off and pick-up experience
  • Separate boarding areas for cats and dogs
  • Cats will enjoy 8 sun-filled boarding suites
  • Dogs will have larger kennels
  • Boarding will accommodate 18 large dogs and 20 small dogs

Grooming Enhancements:

  • Big bright room for grooming pets
  • Separate entrance for easier drop-off and pick-up experience
